Ranked by what a piece actually costs you today.
Price per piece is the standard yardstick for LEGO value, and it’s almost always quoted against MSRP — which means it never moves when a set goes on sale. This ranking divides the live best price across every retailer we track by the set’s piece count, so a set that’s discounted today ranks where it deserves to. Each card also shows the MSRP figure for comparison.
Sets under 100 pieces are left out: a polybag wins on the arithmetic and loses on everything else. Piece count is a poor proxy for value on its own — a set of big Duplo bricks and a set of 1×1 studs are not comparable — so read this as a shortlist, not a verdict. Marketplace listings and retired sets are excluded, and prices come from the same live feed the set pages use.
